What came first ??

the chicken or the egg ??

I was not there when Nebucco came along

or when the Pharaoh took them away

Neither I have anything to do with the Spanish-Inquisition.

No sir  !!

I was born in 1948 and ever since, I try

to understand the world around me .

One of the many questions I asked myself

was whether the Jew came first or the Ghetto ??

For the last 35 years I am living in

the safest place on Earth for any Jew....

which is The Netherlands.

In those 35 years my city,Amsterdam,

has seen 4 Jewish Mayors.

And the Netherlands which contains 35.000 Jewish-persons

has had 6 or 7 Jewish Ministers and about 10 to 15

members of Parliament , not to forged the Jewish presence

on the Banking and Business stage

not to mention the Textile & Diamond-industry...........

etc.etc...

I came to live , accidentally , in the Jewish quarter of Amsterdam

which after 30 or 25 years moved away slowly

to another nearby neighbourhood.

Voluntarily and in an organised manner ,

my Jewish-co-citizens are gathering ( or re-gathering)

less than 2 kilometres away.....

in a new neighbourhood ....

or must I say a new-Ghetto !! ??

Why ??

I have no idea !!!

but I may conclude that this (new) Ghetto is Jewish-made

in a country where Jews and Judaism have always flourished.

So why this

eternaly-revolving-Ghetto-mentality  ??

This new-neighbourhood , is neither strategic , nor exclusive,

nor safer , nor prettier, nor having any other advantages.......

except that it is now , Jewish !!

Probably , my Dutch-Jewish-co-citizens

have again decided to be first Jewish and then to be Dutch !!

Or maybe they are hiding away from........

the next Gert Wilders ???

Inside and outside

Let us compare and put side by side
the Ghetto-uprising of Warsaw
and the uprising of Gaza , today .


Undoubtedly and undeniably
the fascists-forces were and are on the outside
while the oppressed were and are now on the inside.


What have done the Jews of Warsaw ?
to either deserve it , or surely not
and what have done the Palestinians of Gaza ??

I leave the answer to those 2 questions ,
for your own judgement...
but we should agree at least that the innocents
were ( and are) not on the outside.


The irony of History is that since the uprising
of Gaza until today the world-media has mentioned
the Ghetto of Warsaw more often than Gaza.
When we all know that the Warsaw drama is
62 years old and the uprising and the siege of Gaza
is 11 months old.


More irony arises is when we notice that some of
the people starving and strangling Gaza are
the direct descendant of the people who were
once inside Warsaw-Ghetto .


And even much more ironical is the fact that
those who once stood outside the Ghetto of Warsaw
may be financing and supporting those who are
standing outside Gaza , today.


Fascism has not one nationality ,
nor is it one only race.
And religion(s) have nothing to do with fascism.


The State of Israel was made by the fascist
and for the fascists !!
Tell me otherwise , if you can !!


If the Israelis were not all fascists in May 1948
they surely are,today... ...... in May 2008 !!

إلى الداخل من الخارج

لنحاول المقارنة ولنضع الأشياء جنباً إلى جنب...ثورة غيتو وارسو
وانتفاضة غزة... اليوم
بدون شك أو نكران
في كلا الحالين القوات الفاشستية في الخارج
بينما المضطهدون كانوا ولا يزالون في الداخل
ما الذي اقترفه يهود وارسو؟
حتى يستحقوه، وبالتأكيد لا يستحقون ما عانوه
(المترجم: اللهم إلا إذا أردنا معاقبتهم بما اقترفه الناجون منهم
وما يقترفه أبنائهم وأحفادهم اليوم في فلسطيننا التي يحتلون اليوم!!!)

ومن أجل قرارك الذاتي
ولكن علينا أن نصل إلى اتفاق حول الأبرياء
نحن كنا (ولم نزل) ليس في الخارج.
بينما المضطهدون كانوا ولا يزالون في الداخل

ومن سخريات القدر أنه منذ الانتفاضة
انتفاضة غزة حتى اليوم الإعلام العالمي ذكر
غيتو وارسو كثيراً أكثر من ذكره لغزة
وعندما نعي بأن دراما وارسو
لها من العمر 62 عاماً وحصار غزه له من العمر
فقط 11 شهر... ولا أمد الله من عمره... (لا بل قصف الله عمره... آمين)
ومن نكبات الزمان وأزيد، عندما نلاحظ أن بعض
الناس الذين يجوعون ويشددون الخناق في غزة هم
من سلالة هؤلاء الناس الذين كانوا
من أهل غيتو وارسو والمقيمون فيه
والأشد هولاً هو أن الحقيقة
أن هؤلاء الذين يقفون خارج ذلك الغيتو (غيتو وارسو)...
قد يكونون هم الذين يمولون هؤلاء
الذين يحاصرون ويجوعون ويقتلون أهل غزة اليوم

الفاشيون لا يجمعهم لا دين واحد
ولا جنس وأحد... ولا هوية واحدة
وبالنسبة للفاشيين!!!
ولا أراك تختلف معي بأن
جميع الإسرائيليين كانوا في 1948 كلهم وبدون استثناء فاشيون
وهم.... بالتأكيد فاشيون حتى العظم... اليوم... أيار 2008
